LCDR Robert Squires

Past Executive Officer, USS WARRIOR (MCM 10)

16 October 2022 LCDR Robert Squires is a native of Coronado, CA and graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in History in 2012. After receiving his commission through the NROTC program, LCDR Squires was a plank-owning crew member of USS MICHAEL MURPHY (DDG 112).

In 2015 LCDR Squires reported aboard 1st Marine Division, FMF as a naval gunfire liaison officer and deployed with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit.

As a department head LCDR Squires served as the Engineer Officer aboard USS WAYNE E. MEYER (DDG 108) from October 2020-December 2021. In July 2022 LCDR Squires reported to USS WARRIOR (MCM 10), Sasebo, Japan as Executive Officer.

Shore duties include Recruiting District Portland as an officer recruiter. In addition to his bachelor’s degree, LCDR Squires holds a Masters of Systems Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School and is a Trusty Shellback.
