Future USS Cleveland Sailors Welcome Scouts During Commissioning Week

CLEVELAND (May 11, 2026) – Sailors assigned to the future USS Cleveland (LCS 31) conduct morning colors, stand quarterdeck security, and interact with members of Scouting America Cub Scouts, Scout Troop 122 and Scout Troop 153 aboard the ship in Cleveland, Ohio, May 11, 2026. The b-roll package includes footage from the flight deck, quarterdeck, bridge and shipboard spaces during commissioning week. Cleveland is the fourth warship to be named after Ohio’s second largest city and is the 16th and final Freedom-variant littoral combat ship to be built and commissioned in the U.S. Navy.
