02 October 2021 PHILIPPINE SEA -- 211002-N-PH222-1134 Commanding Officer of Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Charleston (LCS 18) Cmdr. Clayton Beas, from Bloomington, Calif., uses binoculars in the pilot house during routine operations.
