USS Jackson (LCS 6) Sailors Perform FOD Walkdown

03 November 2021 SOUTH CHINA SEA -- 211103-N-FA490-1028 Sailors assigned to the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6), perform a foreign object debris (FOD) walkdown on the flight deck of Jackson during routine operations. Jackson, part of Destroyer Squadron Seven, is on a rotational deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
