PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 31, 2024) The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), left, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force helicopter destroyer JS Ise (DDH 182), center, and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) sail in formation during a Multi-Large Deck Event (MLDE), Jan. 31, 2024.
