USS Princeton (CG 59) Namesake Visit [Image 15 of 17]

230606-N-WF272-1268 PRINCETON, N.J. (June 6, 2023) The crew of Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59), and Mark Freda, left, the mayor of Princeton, New Jersey, pose for a group photo in front of the Ionic Colonnade while touring the Princeton Battlefield State Park during a namesake visit June 6, 2023. The Colonnade is located on the Park’s western side and serves as an entrance for a memorial dedicated to 21 British and 15 American unknown soldiers killed in the Battle of Princeton. Twenty USS Princeton crewmembers visited the city to engage with Princeton-area residents, community leaders, local NROTC units and schools in order to further build relations between the ship and its namesake city.
