Naval Surface Group – Central is the single, accountable commander responsible for the oversight of manning, training, and equipping in-theatre warships to deliver mission capable combatants to conduct prompt and sustained combat operations within Central Command and 5th Fleet Area of Operations.

We ensure our Sailors have the tools and training to succeed in making our warships combat ready.
