USS Jackson (LCS 6) Sailor Stands Watch

211106-N-FA490-1002 SURABAYA, INDONESIA (Nov. 6, 2021) Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Rafael Ruvalcaba, from El Paso, Texas, assigned to the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson, stands topside roving watch during routine operations. Jackson, part of Destroyer Squadron Seven, is on a rotational deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
