USS Jackson (LCS 6) Sailors Conduct Aviation Firefighting Drill

220212-N-FA490-1012 MANILA, Philippines (Feb. 12, 2022) – From left, Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Patrick Hix, from Independence, Missouri, Hull Technician 2nd Class Michael McNally, from Iuka, Mississippi, and Gunner’s Mate 1st Class Terrance Williamson, from Nashville, Arkansas, all assigned to the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6), serve as hose team on the flight deck of Jackson during an aviation firefighting drill. Attached to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7, Jackson is on a rotational deployment to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the region, and to work alongside allied and partner navies to provide maritime security and stability, key pillars of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
