USS Jackson MEDEVAC Drill

220530-N-EU544-9138 SOUTH CHINA SEA (May 30, 2022) Naval Air Crewman 2nd Class Nicholas Woronoff, from Mount Airy, North Carolina, and Misael Acosta, from San Antonio, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadron 23 carry “Rescue Randy”, a training dummy assigned to HSC-23, on a litter across the flight deck of the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6) during a medical evacuation drill. Jackson, part of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7, is on a rotational deployment, operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
