It is a pleasure to welcome you to Unmanned Surface Vessels Division 1. You have joined a dedicated workforce committed to the future of unmanned systems and autonomy in the Navy.
 
This package contains valuable information about some of the finest medical, dental, recreational facilities, family support centers, commissary, and exchange services in the Navy. Our base facilities and services are available to serve military, civil service personnel, and their families stationed in Ventura County.
 
I'm confident that your time with us will be challenging and rewarding! Whether this is your first assignment here or you are returning home, welcome home and enjoy!                                                                     

 
Traveling to Port Hueneme from the 101 either North or South:

1. Exit at Victoria Ave. and proceed South.
2. Follow Victoria Avenue about 6 miles to Channel Islands Blvd.
3. Turn left on Channel Islands Blvd.
4. Turn right on Ventura Rd. and the first entrance to the base is at Sunkist. Turn right into gate. Sunkist Gate is open 24 hours.

Directions from LAX:

1. Start out going East on World Way/Center Way.
2. Take the Sepulveda Blvd. N/CA-1N ramp.
3. Merge onto S. Sepulveda Blvd.
4. Turn right onto La Tijera Blvd.
5. Merge onto I-405 N. via ramp on the left.
6. Merge onto I-10 W. via exit 53 B to (Toward Santa Monica).
7. I-10 W becomes CA-1 N.
8. Take the exit for Las Posas Road.
9. Turn left onto Las Posas Road.
10. This puts you at the Las Posas Gate. Driving time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Directions from Las Posas gate to the Quarterdeck:

1. After entering the Las Posas Gate, turn right onto Ronald Reagan.
2. Turn right onto Main Road.
3. Turn left onto 6^th and Building 1, where the Quarterdeck is located, will be on your left.
