CDR Bryant is a native of Atlanta, GA. He is a 2008 graduate from Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
At sea, CDR Bryant’s tours include USS GREENBAY (LPD 20) as First Division Officer/ Main Propulsion Division Officer; USS INDEPENDENCE (LCS 2) as the Damage Control Assistant/ Main Propulsion Assistant; USS HARPERS FERRY (LSD 49) as the Chief Engineer; DESTROYER SQUADRON TWO ONE as Logistics and Material Officer (N4) deployed on USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN; USS MERCY (AH-4) in support of 2020 COVID-19 Deployment and USS CARL VINSION (CVN 70) as the Damage Control Assistant.
Ashore he served at SPECIAL BOAT TEAM 12, as a Training Department Head, conducting final battle problems for SEAL TEAMS 1, 3, and 5.
Staff assignments include Afloat Training Group (ATG) Pacific as Operations Officer and most recently Executive Officer.
His awards include the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards) and the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards).
