USS Kidd (DDG 100)

Allied navies joined the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Missile Defense Agency to conduct the Pacific Dragon 2024 (PD24) ballistic missile defense exercise from July 29 - Aug. 13, 2024, in waters around the Hawaiian Islands.

U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106) conducted a replenishment at sea (RAS) with the Royal Canadian Navy’s commercial container ship MV Asterix and U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100) while underway in U.S. 3rd Fleet area of operations, July 29, 2024.

MANILA – Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), flagship of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 1, embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 2, Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Kidd (DDG 100) and USS Sterett (DDG 104) arrived in the Philippines for a scheduled port visit Jan. 5.

SINGAPORE – Aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), flagship of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 1, embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 2, cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) and destroyers USS Kidd (DDG 100) and USS Sterett (DDG 104) arrived in Singapore for a scheduled port visit, Dec. 17.

PHILIPPINE SEA - Henry J. Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler USNS Yukon (T-AO-202) conducts a fueling-at-sea with Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100).

AT SEA — The U.S. Navy’s Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 1 conducted a trilateral maritime exercise with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) and Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN), Nov. 26.

PACIFIC OCEAN - Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Avery Matthews, from Bowie, Maryland, makes an announcement over the ship’s mass communication system on the bridge aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100).

The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) held a change of command ceremony on the ship’s forecastle while underway in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.

Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Tulsa (LCS 16) joined Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group (VINCSG) during presence operations in the South China Sea.

Comprised of ships and personnel from three U.S. 7th Fleet task forces, Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Tulsa (LCS 16), Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100), and a detachment from Commander, Task Group (CTG) 75.1/Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 joined together to form a Surface Action Group (SAG) while underway in the South China Sea.

PACIFIC OCEAN (June 13, 2021) - The U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard are conducting integrated operations in the Eastern Pacific Ocean in support of the Tri-Service Maritime Strategy.

The Navy has transitioned into the next phase of its aggressive response to the COVID-19 outbreak on board the guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100).
