Master Chief Lashley hails from Stockton, CA and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in June 1999. After completing Boot Camp at RTC Great Lakes, IL he went on to graduate from Quartermaster “A” School in October 1999.

His first duty assignment was with USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) in Yokosuka, Japan.  His subsequent tours include COMSEVENTHFLT, USS John S. McCain (​DDG 56), Recruit Training Command as a Recruit Division Commander, USS McCampbell (DDG 85).

Master Chief Lashley reported to Afloat Training Group Middle Pacific in March 2014 and assumed the duties as the Senior Enlisted Leader from October 2016 through May 2017.

Master Chief Lashley served his next tour as Command Master Chief, USS Benfold (DDG 65) from May 2017 through May 2020. During this tour he completed multiple Western Pacific Patrols, bi-lateral exercises and 12 month DSRA. He assumed duties as Command Master Chief on USS Antietam (CG 54) in June 2020.

Master Chief Lashley was selected as a Chief Petty Officer in 2008, Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2012, Master Chief Petty Officer in 2016 and Command Master Chief in 2017.  He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 178 “Blue”) and CMC/COB Course (Class 170). Master Chief Lashley holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude).

His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (four awards), and various other personal and unit awards. In addition, he is the recipient of the Peter Tomich Award for exceptional military excellence and the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Delbert D. Black Leadership Award.
