260122-N-UN585-1155 CORONADO, Ca. (Jan. 22, 2026) - Unmanned Surface Vessel Divisions 31, 32, and 33 stand at attention during the assumption of command ceremony for the three divisions. During the ceremony, Lt. Konstantine Glaros assumed command of Unmanned Surface Vessel Division 31, Lt. Sarah Weinstein assumed command of Unmanned Surface Vessel Division 32, and Lt. Joseph Gruber assumed command of Unmanned Surface Vessel Division 33. The mission of Commander, Naval Surface Force, Pacific Fleet is to man, train, and equip the Surface Force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore. Garrett Miller, Commodore, Surface Development Group One, as the presiding Officer. USVRON 3 bid farewell to Capt. Derek Alan Rader and welcomed CDR Sophia Haberman to take charge of USVRON 3.

Brendan McLane is rung in upon his arrival to the establishment ceremony for Unmanned Surface Vessel Squadron 3 (USVRON 3) on Naval Amphibious Base Coronado May 17, 2024. The squadron is comprised of unmanned Global Autonomous Reconnaissance Crafts (GARCs). The 16-foot GARCs built by Maritime Applied Physics Corporation enable research, testing, and operations that will allow integration throughout the surface, expeditionary, and joint maritime forces.
