On August 16-19, select media will be given the opportunity to experience the latest in training and technology in the Surface Fleet. Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet Public Affairs will provide the media with opportunities to embark and tour our newest ships and will be able to speak with Sailors of all levels on their current experience with training and working in the Surface Force. 

This week long tour will include visits to the following:

4. Mariner Skills Training Center Pacific (MSTCPAC); Tour of the trainers and courses
5. Mariner Skills Training Center Pacific (MSTCPAC); Tour of the trainers and courses
6. Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)/Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer (CIAT); Tour of trainer
7. USS Spruance (DDG 111); Ship tour
8. Fire Fighting Trainer; Tour of trainer and watch students in action for Advanced Fire Fighting
9. USS Tripoli (LHA 7); Ship tour
10. LCAC Full Motion Trainer (FMT) and Strategic Sealift presentation
