WELCOME ABOARD AMPHIBIOUS SQUADRON 11
 Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) 11 is the newest and only forward deployed amphibious squadron in the U.S. Navy. With enhanced capability and Naval Integration, the squadron consists of amphibious assault ships which include the USS America (LHA 6), transport dock ships USS Green Bay (LPD 20) and USS New Orleans (LPD 18) and dock landing ships USS Germantown (LSD 42) and USS Ashland (LSD 48). PHIBRON 11 will provide centralized planning embarkation, movement, control, coordination and integration of all aspects of amphibious warfare.
Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide centralized planning embarkation, movement, control, coordination and integration of all aspects of amphibious warfare.PHIBRON 11, along with ships, aircraft, and U.S. Marine Corps support, provides a wide range of capabilities such as non-combatant evacuation (NEO), humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, maritime interdiction operations, recovery of downed aircrew and craft, and acts as a contingency response force. Being part of the Amphibious Squadron 11 team is the place to be.
