     Congratulation Teammate! Welcome aboard Naval Beach Unit SEVEN we are glad you will be a part of our Vanguard family. Our command is unique and exciting! We function as a Forward Deployed Naval Force (FDNF) command striving on our excellence with manning, organizing, training, maintaining, and equipping all Naval Beach Group ONE assets such as Beach Party Teams, Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), and Landing Craft Utility (LCU) that are fully trained, properly manned, interoperable, well maintained, and combat-sustainable to conduct amphibious operations in the littoral environments deployed or forward assigned in support of FDNF missions. Naval Beach Unit Seven (NBU-7) is homeported in Sasebo, Japan and embarks onboard USS San Diego (LPD-22), USS America (LHA-6), USS Rushmore (LSD-47), and USS New Orleans (LPD-18).
