USS John Finn (DDG 113)

USS John Finn (DDG 113) returned to Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka on November 3, marking the completion of a scheduled patrol in the Indo-Pacific region.

An Anaheim, California native and 2022 graduate of Savanna High School is serving aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113), currently forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15.

The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113) departed Jakarta, Aug. 29, after a five-day port visit to conduct exercises in support of Super Garuda Shield 25.

“During my time in the Navy, I have learned that not everything goes your way. Sometimes, when things get hard, you just have to keep pushing through, and they will eventually get better,” said Fire Controlman 2nd Class Alexander Brooks, who currently serves aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113).

A Brownsville, Texas native and 2015 graduate of Los Fresnos High School is currently serving aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113), which is forward-deployed to the Indo-Pacific and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15.

An East Rochester, New York native and 2014 graduate of East Rochester High School is serving aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113), which is forward-deployed to the Indo-Pacific and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15.
