USS Kingsville (LCS 36)

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The U.S. Navy commissioned Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Kingsville (LCS 36) at the Solomon P. Ortiz Center, August 24.

The Sailors of the future USS Kingsville (LCS 36), an Independence-variant littoral combat ship, visited the ship’s namesake city on August 21 to engage with the community, talk about the Navy, and learn more about the historical connection to their vessel’s namesake.

MOBILE, Ala. — The Navy accepted delivery of the future USS Kingsville (LCS 36) at Austal USA’s shipyard in Mobile, Alabama, March 1.
